Lineup
We’ve brought together a very tasty and dynamic mix of local legends and fresh faces to keep your hooves moving and smiles widening from start to finish.
Check out the schedule below and get to know the artists behind the decks and on stage:
Main hall

Boorloo Ballroom
[interactive]
8.30pm

Boorloo Ballroom takes over Rave Relief with some high-energy categories to open the night. Three categories will set the pace for the night: Fashion Killa for those who want to flaunt their fabulous Pride outfits , OTA Realness a traditional ballroom category respecting our fun art trans brothers, sisters and butch queens, and Performance showcasing the full spectrum of vogue – Vogue Femme, Old Way, and New Way. A fierce warm-up curated by the Boorloo community, priming the room for a night of sweat, spirit, and celebration.
Categories are open to our guests in attendance:
If you’re planning to walk, you should read up on the categories and most importantly: show respect and some understanding of ballroom customs and rules. This includes understanding that ballroom was created for and by Black and Latina trans women, and our participation in the space should reflect that knowledge. Watching, supporting, and sharing energy can be just as valuable as walking!

Staggering ‘tween the tragic and the jester, the intimate and the collective, his practice sprawls over alt-drag, body weather, mime, ritual and theatre art. Drawing power through vulnerability, Ash offers tender ruminations on the human condition whilst crafting a revenge fantasy on la structure du pouvoir. Baroque pays homage to hysteria, reclaiming the individualist amidst an increasingly homogenised society.
Most recently, Ash Baroque studied butoh and performed with Sankai Juku in Japan, performed at Dark Mofo festival, supported Methyl Ethel on their national tour of “Are You Haunted?”, featured in Nicholas Allbrook’s music video for Jackie and mentored the 600 Seconds Program at The Blue Room Theatre.
